Blog 4:  Nikon Nikkor Lenses: Sample Photoghraphs

The day was 16th February around 13.00h.  The shots were taken in Devon near Exeter.  The weather was sunshine and showers (and flipping cold).

Each lenses' serial number is given so that you know from which series that lens is from.

The photos shown below are 3000 pixel JPEG versions of the orininal raw DNG files.  No in-camera or computer application manipulation, cropping or filtering has been performed on either the original DNG or the JPEG versions below.  The JPEGs were resized using PhotoPad and exported at 100%.

The 50mm lens has three shots, one at wide open, one 2 stops down and one closed up.  There are two photos from each zoom lense, both taken at 2 stops down.

The Simga fp L camera settings were:

  • Shutter speed = Auto
  • Exposure Compensation = 0
  • ISO Setting = Auto
  • Shutter speed = Auto
  • Focus = Manual
  • Crop = 1.0

The camera was hand held but leaning against the frame of the open window I shot from.

Contol/Right Click each photo to download the full DNG version.
